◆ 10~11월 재난대응훈련 실시
인천광역시(시장 유정복)는 10월과 11월에 걸쳐 '2025년 하반기 재난대응훈련'을 실시한다고 밝혔다. 재난 발생 시 신속하고 체계적인 대응 역량을 강화하기 위해 마련했다. 훈련은 화학 재난과 해상 재난 등 복합적인 상황을 가정했다. 관계기관 간 협력체계를 점검하고, 실제 재난 상황에 대응할 수 있는 실전 대응 능력을 높이는 것을 목표로 한다.
◆ 28일 화학 재난 상시훈련, 11월 해상재난 훈련
10월 28일 시청 재난영상회의실에서 유해화학물질 누출과 화재 발생 상황을 가정한 사회재난 대비 상시훈련이 진행된다. 훈련은 초기 상황판단회의부터 지역재난안전대책본부 운영까지 전 과정을 실제 상황처럼 대응한다. 서구, 인천소방본부, 시흥화학재난합동방재센터 등 유관기관과 재난 발생 초기부터 대응·수습 단계까지 공조 체계를 점검한다. 인천시는 11월 연안부두 제주행여객터미널 일원에서 대규모 해상 재난 대응 훈련 '레디코리아(READY Korea)'를 실시한다. 훈련은 짙은 해무 속 여객선과 군선박이 충돌하고, 화재와 기름 유출이 발생하는 상황을 가정했다. 행정안전부, 국방부, 해양수산부 등 중앙부처와 소관 군·구, 인천항만공사 등 항만기관이 함께 참여한다.

윤백진 시 시민안전본부장은 "이번 훈련을 통해 관계기관 간 공조체계를 더욱 공고히 하고, 실제 재난 상황에 즉각 대응할 수 있는 능력을 강화하겠다"고 말했다. 윤 본부장은 "시민의 생명과 재산을 지키는 안전 인천 실현에 최선을 다하겠다"고 덧붙였다. 인천시는 재난대비훈련 기본계획 및 시행계획을 수립하고, 관계기관 간 기획회의와 사전협의를 지속적으로 진행했다. 훈련 중 도출되는 개선사항은 즉각 보완·반영해 실질적인 대응체계 강화로 이어지도록 할 계획이다.
