서울서부지법 김형석 영장전담 부장판사는 13일 특수건조물침입교사 혐의를 받는 전광훈 사랑제일교회 목사에 대한 구속영장을 발부했다.

지난해 1월 발생한 서부지법 난동 사태 약 1년 만이다. 김 부장판사는 "증거를 인멸할 염려가 있고 도망할 염려가 있다"고 발부 사유를 밝혔다.

전 목사는 신앙심을 이용한 심리적 지배와 금전적 지원 등으로 측근과 일부 보수 성향 유튜버들을 조직적으로 관리하며 서부지법 난동을 부추겼다는 의혹을 받는다. 전 목사는 이날 영장실질심사 출석 전 "충돌 없게 하라고 늘 강조했다"며 혐의를 부인했다.

Seoul Western District Court Judge Kim Hyung-seok issued an arrest warrant on January 13 for Pastor Jun Kwang-hoon of Sarang Jeil Church on charges of inciting special building intrusion. This comes approximately one year after the court riot incident in January last year. Judge Kim stated the warrant was issued due to "concerns about evidence destruction and flight risk." Pastor Jun is suspected of systematically managing close associates and some conservative YouTubers through psychological control using religious faith and financial support to incite the court riot. Before attending the warrant hearing, Pastor Jun denied the charges, stating he "always emphasized there should be no clashes."
