◆ 박람회 개요
수원특례시는 2026 말레이시아 국제 뷰티박람회 수원시관에 참가할 창업·중소제조기업 8곳을 1월 30일까지 모집한다고 9일 밝혔다.

신청을 원하는 중소제조기업은 수원시 홈페이지(www.suwon.go.kr) 검색창에서 '중소기업 말레이시아 뷰티 박람회'를 검색해 신청서를 내려받아 작성한 후 1월 30일 오후 6시까지 전자우편(woosikbh@korea.kr)으로 제출하면 된다.
◆ 시장 전망
한국과 말레이시아는 2025년 10월 26일 자유무역협정(FTA)을 체결했다. 한국 드라마와 가요에 대한 수요가 증가하면서 말레이시아는 뷰티 기업들의 새로운 시장으로 주목받고 있다.
수원시 관계자는 "2025년 우리나라 화장품 수출액은 16조 원을 돌파했다"며 "수원 뷰티 기업들의 글로벌 진출을 적극 지원하겠다"고 말했다.

Suwon Special City announced on the 9th that it will recruit eight startups and small manufacturing companies to participate in the Suwon Pavilion at the 2026 Malaysia International Beauty Expo until January 30.
The expo will be held from June 13 to 16 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC). Approximately 30,000 professional beauty buyers from 30 countries across Asia, the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas are expected to participate. Companies in cosmetics, beauty products, skincare, hair, nail care, and healthcare sectors will operate a total of 1,966 booths.
◆ Support Details and Application Method
Suwon City will support participating companies with 90% of booth rental and installation costs, one-way shipping costs for exhibits, and interpretation services. Participating companies must cover 10% of booth rental and installation costs and local accommodation expenses.

◆ Market Outlook
South Korea and Malaysia signed a Free Trade Agreement (FTA) on October 26, 2025. With increasing demand for Korean dramas and music, Malaysia has emerged as a promising market for beauty companies.
A Suwon City official stated, "South Korea's cosmetics exports exceeded 16 trillion won in 2025," adding, "We will actively support Suwon beauty companies in their global expansion."
