◆ 주민참여 예산 규모 확대
군포시는 18일 시청 대회의실에서 2025년도 주민참여예산제 운영평가회를 개최했다. 주민참여예산위원과 관계 공무원 60명이 참석했다. 평가회는 2025년도 추진활동 보고, 활성화 유공자 표창 7명, 운영평가 워크숍 순서로 진행됐다. 군포시는 2026년도 주민참여예산으로 총 66건 약 11억원 규모의 사업을 확정 반영했다.

제7기 주민참여예산위원은 2024년 6월 위촉돼 2년 임기로 활동 중이다. 위원은 시정참여, 도시개발, 안전환경, 보건복지, 수도녹지, 지역회의운영소위 6개 분과에 소속해 각 분과별 제안사업을 심의했다. 위원들은 2026년 대상 주민참여예산사업 선정과 2025년 추진사업 모니터링을 수행했다. 각 분과에서 활동한 위원과 2026년도 우수사업 제안자 7명이 하은호 군포시장으로부터 표창장을 수여받았다.
◆ 시민참여 기회 확대 추진
하은호 군포시장은 "주민참여예산제는 시민이 직접 시정에 참여해 예산 편성과 정책 결정에 의견을 반영하는 중요한 제도"라며 "주민의 목소리가 시정 전반에 충실히 반영될 수 있도록 제도를 지속적으로 개선하고 참여 기회를 더욱 확대하겠다"고 말했다. 군포시는 이번 평가회에서 제시된 의견을 바탕으로 주민참여예산제 운영의 내실을 다질 계획이다.

◆ Expanded Citizen Participation Budget Scale
Gunpo City held its 2025 Resident Participation Budget Operating Evaluation Meeting on the 18th at the City Hall Conference Room. The meeting proceeded with reports on 2025 initiatives, commendation of seven outstanding contributors, and an operational evaluation workshop. ◆ Systematic Operations Across Six Departments
The seventh resident participation budget committee was appointed in June 2024 with a two-year term. Committee members belong to six departments: government participation, urban development, safety and environment, health and welfare, water and green space, and regional conference operations. Members reviewed department-specific proposed projects and conducted selection of 2026 resident participation budget projects and monitoring of 2025 implemented projects. Committee members from each department and seven outstanding project proposers received certificates of commendation from Mayor Ha Eun-ho.
◆ Expanding Citizen Participation Opportunities
Mayor Ha Eun-ho stated, "The resident participation budget system is an important mechanism through which citizens directly participate in city administration and reflect their opinions in budget compilation and policy decisions," adding "We will continuously improve this system and further expand participation opportunities so that residents' voices are fully reflected in overall city administration." Based on opinions presented during this evaluation meeting, Gunpo City plans to strengthen substantive operations of the resident participation budget system.
