Initiative Aims to Prevent Administrative and Accounting Errors, Establish Audit Culture

Incheon Southern Education Support Office (Director Choi Young-shin) conducted 2025 audit case training on December 12 for 124 participants, including administrative directors and administrative staff at standalone kindergartens, elementary schools, and middle schools within its jurisdiction, as well as interested teaching staff.

The training was designed to analyze major audit cases in administrative and accounting fields, prevent recurring errors in school settings, and establish an audit culture based on communication and empathy.

Incheon Southern Education Support Office expanded the training scope from existing administrative staff to include interested teaching staff. This effort elevated the administrative competency and audit comprehension of the entire faculty.

Auditors directly engaged in actual audit work participated as instructors, sharing key findings and best practices across various categories including budgeting and settlement, construction contracts, compensation and conduct, accounting and contracts, and asset management and facility security.

An official from the Southern Education Support Office stated, "We anticipate this training will help schools conduct self-assessments and improvements in vulnerable areas," adding "We will continue to raise the professionalism and credibility of school administration through field-oriented training."
