고양시 일산서구에서 중학생을 유인하려 한 40대 남성을 경찰이 검거했다.

일산서부경찰서는 15일 미성년자 약취·유인 미수 혐의로 40대 A씨에 대해 구속영장을 신청했다고 밝혔다.

A씨는 14일 오전 10시 40분께 일산서구 일산2동 한 찜질방 앞 도로에서 중학생 B군의 어깨를 붙잡았다. A씨는 "나랑 같이 살자"고 말하며 B군을 유인하려 한 혐의를 받고 있다.

B군은 A씨를 뿌리치고 인근 건물 화장실로 피신했다. B군은 직접 경찰에 신고했다. 출동한 경찰은 주변을 수색해 찜질방 안에 있던 A씨를 긴급체포했다.

A씨는 당시 만취 상태였다. A씨는 경찰 조사에서 "기억이 나지 않는다"고 진술한 것으로 전해졌다.

경찰 관계자는 "미성년자 약취·유인 사건을 엄중하게 보고 있다"며 "범행 동기 등 추가로 확인할 사항이 있어 구속영장을 신청했다"고 말했다.
