한국언론진흥재단(이사장 김효재)은 11일 전국 공동배달센터에서 근무하는 신문 배달원들의 근무환경 개선을 위해 '2025년 신문배달원 방한용품 지원사업'을 진행했다.

올해는 전국 192개 공동배달센터, 총 2천239명의 배달 종사자를 대상으로 손난로, 발가락용 핫팩, 귀마개 등 방한용품 3종을 전달했다.

김효재 이사장은 이날 전주북부 공동배달센터를 직접 방문해 방한용품을 전달하고 배달 종사자들의 근무 환경과 애로사항을 청취했다. 김 이사장은 "배달원 여러분의 노고에 늘 감사하다"며 "재단은 앞으로도 현장을 이해하고 지원할 수 있는 부분을 꼼꼼히 살피는 데 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
