◆ 최종 승인 확정…신규 6개 노선 추가

경기도 행정2부지사 김대순은 12월 12일 제2차 경기도 도시철도망 구축계획(2026~2035)이 국토교통부로부터 최종 승인·고시됐다고 발표했다. 승인된 계획은 총 12개 노선 104.48㎞에 총사업비 7조 2,725억 원 규모다. 경기도는 2016년 수립한 제1차 계획에서 미추진된 6개 노선을 포함하고 신규 6개 노선을 발굴해 정책화했다.

◆ 신규 6개 노선…광역철도 연계성 강화

신규 노선은 김포골드라인 학운연장(7.04㎞, 7,395억 원), 판교오포선(9.50㎞, 9,451억 원), 동백신봉선(14.70㎞, 1조 7,910억 원), 가좌식사선(13.37㎞, 4,111억 원), 덕정옥정선(3.90㎞, 4,018억 원), 대곡고양시청식사선(6.25㎞, 2,354억 원)이다. 각 노선은 신도시·산업단지 접근성 개선과 기존 철도 연계를 통해 교통 수요 분산 목표를 추진한다.

◆ 기존 6개 노선…단계적 추진

제1차 계획에서 지속 추진되는 노선은 월곶배곧선(5.50㎞, 2,682억 원), 모란판교선(3.94㎞, 5,265억 원), 용인선 연장(6.80㎞, 7,046억 원), 수원도시철도 1호선(6.72㎞, 2,852억 원), 성남도시철도 1호선(9.90㎞, 3,374억 원), 성남도시철도 2호선(16.86㎞, 6,264억 원)이다. 경기도는 향후 사전타당성조사 및 예비타당성조사 등 후속 절차를 신속히 진행하고 시군의 재정 계획 수립 시 철도사업에 우선적으로 재원을 배분한다.

Deputy Governor of Gyeonggi Province Kim Dae-soon announced on December 12 that the Second Gyeonggi Urban Railway Network Construction Plan (2026-2035) received final approval and publication from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. The approved plan covers 12 routes totaling 104.48 kilometers with a combined budget of 7.27 trillion won. Gyeonggi Province included six unrealized routes from the First Plan established in 2016 and developed six new routes.

◆ Six New Routes…Enhanced Regional Railway Connectivity

New routes include Gimpo Gold Line Hakun Extension (7.04 km, 739.5 billion won), Pangyo-Opo Line (9.50 km, 945.1 billion won), Dongbaek-Sinbong Line (14.70 km, 1.791 trillion won), Gajwa-Siksa Line (13.37 km, 411.1 billion won), Deokjeong-Okjeong Line (3.90 km, 401.8 billion won), and Daegok-Goyang City Hall-Siksa Line (6.25 km, 235.4 billion won). Each route aims to improve accessibility to new cities and industrial complexes while promoting traffic demand distribution through connections with existing railways.

◆ Six Existing Routes…Phased Implementation

Routes continuing from the First Plan include Wolgot-Baeggot Line (5.50 km, 268.2 billion won), Moran-Pangyo Line (3.94 km, 526.5 billion won), Yongin Line Extension (6.80 km, 704.6 billion won), Suwon Urban Railway Line 1 (6.72 km, 285.2 billion won), Seongnam Urban Railway Line 1 (9.90 km, 337.4 billion won), and Seongnam Urban Railway Line 2 (16.86 km, 626.4 billion won). Gyeonggi Province will expedite follow-up procedures including pre-feasibility and preliminary feasibility studies while prioritizing railway project funding in municipal and county fiscal plans.
