군포시 산본보건지소가 2025년 경기도에서 추진한 모자보건사업 사업평가를 통해 우수기관 2개소 중 하나로 선정되어 경기도지사 표창을 수상했다. 산본보건지소는 임신과 출산에 관한 사회적 변화 흐름에 맞춰 다양한 사업을 발굴하고 적극적으로 추진해온 결과를 인정받았다.
◆ 전국 최초 영구피임복원시술비 지원...복지부 장관상 수상
군포시는 2000년부터 모자보건교실을 시작했다. 2020년대 들어 출산장려 관련 조례를 선도적으로 제정했고 전담팀을 신설해 기반을 마련했다. 전국에서 처음으로 영구피임복원시술비를 지원했으며 경기도 내에서 임신축하금 지원 사업을 추진했다. 특히 생애초기건강관리사업은 간호사가 임산부와 만 2세 미만 영유아 가정을 방문하여 산전·산후 건강관리, 발달 상담, 양육정보 제공 및 정서적 지원 등 맞춤형 서비스를 제공한다. 이 사업은 11월 보건복지부가 개최한 사업 성과 대회에서 상위 10개 우수기관에 선정되어 복지부 장관상을 수상했다.
◆ 저출생 시대 여성·영유아 건강관리 선도기관으로 자리
군포시는 저출생 시대에 임신·출산·양육 전 과정을 촘촘히 지원하는 모자보건 정책을 통해 경기도 내 타 시의 모범사례가 되고 있다. 김미경 산본보건지소장은 "이번 성과는 군포시가 꾸준히 추진해온 모자보건사업의 성과를 공식적으로 인정받은 결과"라며 "앞으로도 임신·출산·양육 전 과정을 촘촘히 지원하는 군포시만의 모자보건 정책을 더욱 발전시키겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Nation's First to Support Permanent Contraception Reversal Surgery Costs...Wins Ministry of Health and Welfare Minister's Award
Gunpo City launched its maternal and child health classroom in 2000. From the 2020s onward, the city pioneered enactment of childbirth promotion-related ordinances and established dedicated teams to build infrastructure. The city became the first in the nation to support permanent contraception reversal surgery costs and implemented pregnancy congratulation payment programs within Gyeonggi-do. The Early-Life Health Management Project particularly stands out, with nurses visiting homes of pregnant women and families with infants under age 2 to provide tailored services including antepartum and postpartum health management, developmental counseling, parenting information, and emotional support. The project earned selection among the top 10 excellence institutions at the Ministry of Health and Welfare's business performance competition held in November and received the Minister's Award.
◆ Established as a Leading Institution in Women's and Infant Health Management in the Low Birth Rate Era
Gunpo City serves as a model case for other municipalities in Gyeonggi-do through maternal and child health policies providing comprehensive support throughout the entire process of pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting in the low birth rate era. Kim Mi-kyung, Director of Sanbon Health Center, said, "This achievement represents official recognition of the results from maternal and child health projects that Gunpo City has consistently pursued," and added, "We will continue to develop Gunpo City's unique maternal and child health policies that provide comprehensive support throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and parenting."
