인천시 황효진 글로벌도시정무부시장과 윤원석 인천경제자유구역청장이 동반 사퇴했다.

인천시는 1일 "황 부시장과 윤 청장이 조직 쇄신 기회를 위해 사의를 표명했다"고 밝혔다.

인천시는 "조직의 새로운 활력 제고와 변화된 시정 환경에 능동적으로 대응하기 위한 조치"라며 "후임 인사와 구체적인 일정은 추후 공지하겠다"고 말했다.

황 부시장은 민선6기 유정복 인천시장 시장직 인수위원회 위원과 인천도시공사 감사를 거쳤다. 2017년 제9대 인천도시공사 사장을 역임했다. 이후 민선8기 시장직 인수위원회 위원을 맡았으며 2023년 11월 정무부시장직에 취임했다.

윤 청장은 1986년 코트라에 입사했다. 벤쿠버무역관장, 부산무역관장, 로스앤젤레스 KBC센터장, 기획조정실장 등 주요 보직을 맡았다. 임원으로 승진한 뒤 경제통상협력본부장을 역임했다. 2024년 2월 제8대 인천경제자유구역청장에 임명됐다.

Vice Mayor Hwang served as a member of the mayoral transition committee under Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok during the 6th popularly elected term and as an auditor at Incheon City Development Corporation. He served as the 9th president of Incheon City Development Corporation in 2017. He later served as a member of the 8th popularly elected term transition committee and took office as Vice Mayor for Political Affairs in November 2023.

Commissioner Yoon joined KOTRA in 1986. He held key positions including Vancouver Trade Office Director, Busan Trade Office Director, Los Angeles KBC Center Director, and Planning and Coordination Director. After being promoted to executive, he served as Economic and Trade Cooperation Division Head. He was appointed as the 8th Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority Commissioner in February 2024.
