6개 프로그램으로 수질 신뢰도 향상
수원시는 수돗물 신뢰도 향상을 위해 워터코디 방문 수질검사·수돗물평가위원회 참관 채수 운영·수돗물품질보고서 제작·배포·지역축제 연계 홍보 및 시음 운영·정수장 견학 대상 확대·우리집수돗물 안심확인제 6개 프로그램을 운영했다. 경기도는 다양한 프로그램 운영을 인정했다.
수원시 관계자는 "앞으로 상수도시설 관리 전문성을 높이고 시민 참여 프로그램을 넓히겠다"며 "안정적이고 깨끗한 수돗물 공급을 위해 꾸준히 노력하겠다"고 밝혔다.

Suwon City was selected as an excellent institution in the Gyeonggi Province water supply performance evaluation from November 2024 to October 2025. The evaluation covered six categories for water utility operators in the province: water supply management, water supply operations, publicity results, water pipe improvement results, policy promotion results, and cooperation with provincial government operations.
Suwon City's professional water purification facility managers and water supply network operators received high marks for establishing a systematized management structure. The sustained implementation of the 'My Home Water Pipe Replacement Project' to eliminate green water and aging pipeline maintenance received strong evaluation for reinforcing water supply infrastructure.
Six Programs Enhance Water Quality Trust
Suwon City operated six programs for improving water quality trust: water quality inspections by water coordinators, water quality assessment committee sampling operations, water quality report production and distribution, local festival-linked promotional activities and water tasting, expanded water purification plant tours, and the 'My Home Water Safety Confirmation Program.' Gyeonggi Province recognized the diverse program operations.
A Suwon City official stated, "We will continue to strengthen expertise in water supply facility management and expand citizen participation programs," adding, "We will make consistent efforts to supply stable and clean drinking water."
