◆ 종합계획 수립부터 현장맞춤형 관리까지 인증 통과
인천시는 2022년 중대재해처벌법 시행 이후 중대시민재해예방팀을 구성했다. 매년 중대시민재해 예방·대응 종합계획을 수립하고 각 시설물의 유해·위험요인을 발굴했다. 현장 맞춤형 컨설팅과 담당자 교육으로 관리체계를 강화했으며 시설 유형별 표본점검을 실시해 매뉴얼과 지침을 정비하고 현장 대응 절차를 표준화했다. 윤백진 시 시민안전본부장은 "이번 인증은 인천시가 국제적으로 신뢰받는 안전보건경영시스템을 갖춘 도시임을 보여주는 것"이라며 "지속적 관리와 안전문화 확산으로 시민이 안심하고 생활할 수 있는 환경을 만들겠다"고 말했다.

This evaluation assessed the city's implementation status of occupational safety and health management systems for major citizen disasters, the level of hazardous and risk factor management, field inspection systems, and regulatory compliance.
◆ Comprehensive Plan Establishment Through Site-Specific Management Achieves Certification
Incheon City established a major citizen disaster prevention team following the implementation of the Serious Disaster Punishment Act in 2022. The city formulated comprehensive plans annually for preventing and responding to major citizen disasters and identified hazardous and risk factors at each facility. The city reinforced its management system through site-specific consulting and staff training, conducted sample inspections by facility type, revised manuals and guidelines, and standardized field response procedures. Yoon Baek-jin, Director of the Citizen Safety Headquarters, stated, "This certification demonstrates that Incheon City is a city with an internationally trusted occupational safety and health management system," and added, "Through continuous management and dissemination of safety culture, we will create an environment where citizens can live with peace of mind."
