다방 여종업원을 폭행하고 현금을 갈취한 50대 남성이 경찰에 붙잡혔다. 인천 서부경찰서는 강도 혐의로 A씨를 검거해 구속영장을 신청했다고 17일 밝혔다. A씨는 지난 15일 오전 3시께 인천 서구 한 다방에서 종업원 B씨(60대·여)를 주먹으로 폭행하고 현금 50만원을 빼앗아 달아난 혐의를 받고 있다. A씨는 성매매 과정에서 B씨가 마음에 들지 않는다며 범행을 저지른 것으로 알려졌다.
◆긴급체포 후 구속영장 신청
신고를 접수한 경찰은 같은 날 오전 11시 48분께 부평구 한 길거리에서 A씨를 긴급체포했다. 경찰은 전날 A씨에 대한 구속영장을 인천지검에 신청했다. 검찰도 이를 법원에 청구했다.
◆오늘 영장실질심사 진행 예정
경찰 관계자는 "오늘 A씨에 대한 구속 전 피의자 심문(영장실질심사)이 진행될 예정"이라고 말했다.

A man in his 50s who assaulted a female dabang employee and extorted cash was caught by police.
