군포시는 10월 16일부터 23일까지 5일간 시청 중회의실에서 '2026년도 주요업무계획 보고회'를 연다고 밝혔다. 본청 및 사업소, 군포1동 등 38개 부서와 4개 산하기관이 참여한다. 하은호 시장을 비롯해 부시장, 국·소·대동장 및 부서장, 산하기관장이 참석한다. 정부 국정 과제와 정책 여건을 반영한 내년도 시정 운영 방향과 핵심사업을 논의한다. 2026년도 시정 추진계획을 점검하고 부서 간 협력방안을 모색한다.
◆AI 안전·복지, 금정역 개발, 철도 지하화 추진
내년도 주요사업은 AI를 활용한 시민 안전 및 복지 서비스 강화를 포함한다. 녹색 인프라 확충을 위한 공원을 조성한다. 소상공인 지원 및 일자리 사업을 통해 지역경제를 활성화한다. 금정역 남·북부 역사 통합개발을 추진한다. 철도 지하화 사업을 진행한다. 도로망을 확충해 도시 간 연계성을 강화한다. 군포시는 시민이 체감할 수 있는 생활환경 개선과 도시 경쟁력 제고를 추진한다.
◆의견 종합해 본예산 반영
하은호 시장은 "2026년은 민선8기의 성과를 완성하고 새로운 도약을 준비하는 전환점이 될 것"이라며 "모든 부서가 시민의 시선에서 정책을 설계하고 현장에서 답을 찾는 실천행정을 통해 더 나은 군포를 만들겠다"고 말했다. 군포시는 보고회에서 제시된 의견을 종합한다. 사업별 우선순위를 정리해 내년도 본예산에 반영한다.
