◆지난해보다 10여 일 일찍 조기 운영
수원특례시는 12월 15일까지 공원녹지사업소, 4개 구청 공원녹지과 등 5개소에 '가을철 산불방지 대책본부'를 설치·운영한다고 밝혔다. 수원시는 APEC 정상회의 등 기상·사회적 여건과 산불위험 지수를 고려했다. 지난해보다 10여 일 이른 시기에 조기 운영한다. 수원시 공직자 115명, 산불감시원 79명 등 194명이 근무한다. 산불 감시, 산불 예방 홍보, 산불 진화 등을 담당한다.
◆AI 카메라 22대·헬기 1대 등 활용
대책본부는 오전 9시부터 해가 질 때까지 주요 등산로 등 산불 발생 가능성이 높은 지역을 순찰한다. 현장 상황을 점검한다. 주말과 공휴일은 오전 10시부터 오후 6시까지 점검한다. 산불 감시 AI 카메라 22대, 산불 진화용 임차 헬기 1대, 산불소화시설 2개소, 산불 진화·화물차량 16대, 무전기 88대 등을 활용한다. 산불을 철저하게 감시하고 발생 즉시 대응한다.
◆30분 골든타임 내 헬기 조기 진화
수원시는 산불을 확인하면 골든타임인 30분 이내에 헬기로 신속히 조기 진화한다. 산불이 없을 때도 주 2~3회 헬기로 산림 지역에서 산불방지 안내방송, 순찰 활동을 한다. 인근 도시와 산불진화 헬기 운영에 대한 상호 협조 체계를 구축했다. 수원시 관계자는 "2024년 가을철 기상 여건은 평년과 비슷할 것으로 보인다"며 "단풍철을 기점으로 산불 예방에 최선을 다할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
