◆ 21-24일 임시회 개최...총 37건 안건 심사
시흥시의회(의장 오인열)가 10월 21일부터 24일까지 4일간 제331회 임시회를 열어 주요 현안과 조례안을 처리한다고 밝혔다. 임시회 첫날인 21일 제1차 본회의에서는 회기 결정의 건, 도시환경위원회의 공무국외출장 결과 보고의 건, 하수관로정비 BTL 사업 관련 조사특별위원회 결과보고서 채택의 건 등을 진행한 후 상임위원회별 안건 심사에 돌입한다. 이번 임시회의 핵심은 총 37건의 부의안건 중 10건에 달하는 의원발의 조례안이다.
◆ 의원발의 10건...청년친화도시·점자문화·개인형 이동장치 등
자치행정위원회에서는 「시흥시 인구정책에 관한 조례 일부개정조례안」과 「시흥시 소송수행자 포상금 지급 조례 일부개정조례안」이 의원발의로 제출됐다. 교육복지위원회에서는 「시흥시 청년친화도시 조성 조례안」과 「시흥시 점자문화 진흥에 관한 조례안」 등 4건, 도시환경위원회에서는 「시흥시 개인형 이동장치 이용 및 안전 증진 조례 전부개정조례안」, 「시흥시 명예환경감시원 운영 지원 조례안」 등 4건이 의원발의로 다뤄진다. 의원발의 안건은 청년층 지원, 취약계층 복지, 탄소 중립 교통 활성화 및 시민 참여형 환경 감시 체계 구축 등 시민 체감형 정책에 초점을 맞췄다.
◆ 24일 제2차 본회의서 안건 처리...오인열 의장 "시민 신뢰 얻을 것"
22일에는 각 상임위원회별로 심사보고서를 채택하고 2025년도 행정사무감사 조치결과에 대한 중간보고를 받는다. 자치행정위원회는 23일까지 이틀에 걸쳐 심층적인 논의를 이어갈 예정이다. 24일 제2차 본회의에서는 상임위원회에서 상정된 모든 안건을 처리하며 회기를 마무리한다. 오인열 의장은 "이번 임시회는 시민의 삶과 직결된 정책을 논의하는 중요한 자리"라며 "책임감 있는 의회 운영을 통해 시민들의 신뢰를 얻기 위해 노력할 것"이라고 밝혔다.
