◆ 청소년 주체 정책 제안 플랫폼...39명 의원·교원·학부모 참석
경기 군포의왕교육지원청은 최근 지원청 신관 3층 청백리홀에서 '2025 군포·의왕 지역 청소년 교육의회 교육정책 제안 및 사회참여 활동 발표회'를 개최했다고 19일 밝혔다. 이번 발표회는 청소년들이 주체가 되어 지역 교육정책과 사회 현안을 탐구하고, 청소년 시각에서 제안한 정책을 지역사회와 공유하는 학생 중심 정책 제안 플랫폼으로 진행됐다. 지역 청소년 교육의회 의원 39명과 관내 초·중·고·특수학교 학생 자치 담당자, 학생 자치 활성화 지원단, 참가 희망 교원, 학부모가 참석했다.
◆ 5개 상임위 다양한 정책 제안...사이버폭력 예방부터 진로 플랫폼까지
발표회는 인성 자율, 생태환경, 인권 평화, 문화예술, 교육진로 등 5개 상임위원회 순으로 진행됐다. 각 상임위원회는 학생들이 직접 조사하고 연구한 정책을 제안했다. 인성 자율 위원회는 사이버폭력 예방 정책을 제안했고, 생태환경 위원회는 수리산 플로깅 스탬프 챌린지를 제시했다. 인권 평화 위원회는 학교 내 인권 문화 조성 방안을 발표했으며, 문화예술 위원회는 찾아오는 문화예술 프로그램을 제안했다. 교육진로 위원회는 진로 체험 통합 플랫폼 구축 방안을 내놓았다. 특히 김다온 내손중학교 1학년 학생은 문화예술 상임위원회 소속으로 '학생들의 문화예술 관심도' 조사 결과를 바탕으로 '학교 안에서 직접 체험·경험할 수 있는 찾아오는 예술교육 프로그램'을 제안해 참석자들의 주목을 받았다.
◆ 참석자 의견 공유...정숙경 교육장 "참여 중심 교육자치 지속 지원"
참석자들은 각 상임위원회별 정책 제안을 경청한 후 메모지를 활용해 의견을 작성하고 각 상임위 패널에 전달했다. 정책 개선 방향 제안과 함께 다양한 아이디어를 공유하고 실천 방안을 논의하는 시간을 가졌다. 정숙경 교육장은 "이번 발표회는 학생이 스스로 사회 문제를 인식하고 해결 방안을 제안하는 진정한 민주시민교육의 장이었다"며 "청소년이 존중받고 함께하는 참여 중심의 교육자치를 지속적으로 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

The Gunpo-Uiwang Office of Education in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 19th that it recently held the '2025 Gunpo-Uiwang Youth Education Council Education Policy Proposal and Social Participation Activity Presentation' at Cheongbaekri Hall on the third floor of the new building. The presentation was conducted as a student-centered policy proposal platform where youth led the exploration of local education policies and social issues and shared policies proposed from a youth perspective with the local community. Thirty-nine youth education council members, student autonomy officials from elementary, middle, high, and special schools in the district, student autonomy activation support groups, participating teachers, and parents attended.
◆ Five standing committees propose various policies...From cyber violence prevention to career platforms
The presentation proceeded in order of five standing committees: character autonomy, ecological environment, human rights peace, culture and arts, and education career. Each standing committee proposed policies that students directly investigated and researched. The character autonomy committee proposed cyber violence prevention policies, and the ecological environment committee presented a Mt. Suri plogging stamp challenge. The human rights peace committee presented measures to create a human rights culture in schools, and the culture and arts committee proposed visiting culture and arts programs. The education career committee presented plans to build an integrated career experience platform. In particular, Kim Da-on, a first-year student at Naeson Middle School and member of the culture and arts standing committee, attracted participants' attention by proposing a 'visiting arts education program that students can directly experience in school' based on survey results on 'students' interest in culture and arts.'
◆ Participants share opinions...Superintendent Jeong Sook-kyung "Continue to support participation-centered educational autonomy"
After listening to policy proposals from each standing committee, participants wrote opinions using memo papers and delivered them to each standing committee panel. They shared various ideas along with suggestions for policy improvement directions and discussed implementation plans. Superintendent Jeong Sook-kyung said, "This presentation was a venue for true democratic citizenship education where students recognize social problems and propose solutions themselves," and "We will continue to support participation-centered educational autonomy where youth are respected and included."
