따뜻한 가을 햇살 아래, 발달장애인 가족들의 특별한 기차여행이 펼쳐졌다.
수원특례시는 (사)한국장애인부모회 수원지부와 함께 15일 발달장애인과 가족을 위한 기차여행 프로그램을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
"따뜻한 추억 만들길"…시장이 직접 배웅
이날 아침 수원역 광장에서는 이재준 수원시장이 여행 참가자들을 직접 배웅하는 훈훈한 장면이 연출됐다. 이 시장은 "가족과 함께하는 이번 가을 여행에서 따뜻한 추억을 만들길 바란다"며 참가자들에게 격려의 말을 전했다.
청남대부터 밤따기까지…알찬 가을 나들이
발달장애인과 보호자 등 120여 명은 대통령 전용 별장이었던 청남대를 곳곳 관람하며 역사의 숨결을 느꼈다. 이후 안성밤뜰농장으로 이동해 가을의 정취를 만끽하며 밤따기 체험을 즐겼다.
이번 여행은 발달장애인 가족들에게 일상에서 벗어나 함께 추억을 만들 수 있는 소중한 기회가 됐다. 참가자들은 기차를 타고 이동하며 가을 풍경을 감상하고, 다양한 체험 활동을 통해 자연과 교감하는 시간을 가졌다.
수원시는 장애인과 그 가족들의 삶의 질 향상을 위해 다양한 복지 프로그램을 지속적으로 운영하고 있다.

Under the warm autumn sun, families with developmentally disabled members embarked on a special train journey.
Suwon Special City announced it organized a train travel program on October 15 for people with developmental disabilities and their families in partnership with the Suwon Branch of the Korea Parents' Association for Persons with Disabilities.

A heartwarming scene unfolded at Suwon Station Square that morning as Mayor Lee Jae-jun personally saw off the trip participants. "I hope you create warm memories on this autumn trip with your families," Lee said, offering words of encouragement to the participants.
From Cheongnamdae to Chestnut Picking…A Full Autumn Outing
About 120 people, including those with developmental disabilities and their guardians, toured Cheongnamdae, the former presidential villa, experiencing its historical significance. They then moved to Anseong Bamdeul Farm to enjoy the autumn atmosphere and participate in chestnut picking activities.
The trip provided a precious opportunity for families with developmental disabilities to escape daily routines and create memories together. Participants enjoyed the autumn scenery while traveling by train and spent time connecting with nature through various experiential activities.
Suwon City continues to operate various welfare programs to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and their families.
