◆ 아시아나항공 제2터미널 이전 개요

인천국제공항공사는 아시아나항공이 14일부터 인천공항 제2여객터미널에서 운항한다고 12일 밝혔다. 아시아나항공은 인천공항 개항 이후 제1터미널에서 운항해왔다. 14일 0시부터 제2터미널로 이전한다.

◆ 이용객 주의사항

인천공항공사는 자가용 이용 여객에게 주차장 혼란 예방을 위한 주의를 당부했다. 공사는 이전 전후로 공항철도 및 공항버스 등 대중교통 이용을 권고했다.

인천공항공사는 지난해 7월 이전 일자 결정 후 6개월간 아시아나항공과 TF팀을 구성했다. 운항시설, 주차장, 체크인카운터, 보안검색 등 5대 분야 20개 과제를 준비했다. 이학재 사장은 8일 체크인카운터, 항공사 라운지, 식음시설, 수하물 설비 등 주요시설을 점검했다.

◆ 특별 운송점검 기간 운영

인천공항공사는 14일부터 16일까지 3일간 특별 운송점검 기간을 운영한다. 입출국장 조기 운영, 주요 핵심시설 24시간 모니터링, 오도착 여객 최소화를 위한 특별 안내체계를 가동한다.

이학재 인천국제공항공사 사장은 "여객 불편이 없도록 공항운영 측면에서 최선의 노력을 다할 계획"이라며 "공항 이용 전 터미널 정보를 확인하고 대중교통을 이용해달라"고 말했다.

Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on Jan. 12 that Asiana Airlines will operate from Terminal 2 starting Jan. 14. Asiana Airlines has operated from Terminal 1 since the airport opened. The transition takes effect at midnight on Jan. 14.

Passengers can check terminal information on the Incheon Airport website (https://www.airport.kr), the official app (Incheon Airport+) and E-tickets.

◆ Passenger Guidelines

The corporation advised passengers driving private vehicles to exercise caution to avoid parking confusion. It recommended using public transportation such as the Airport Railroad and airport buses during the transition period.

The corporation formed a task force with Asiana Airlines after confirming the relocation date in July 2025. The team prepared 20 tasks across five areas including flight facilities, parking, check-in counters and security screening. President Lee Hak-jae inspected major facilities on Jan. 8 including check-in counters, airline lounges, dining facilities and baggage equipment.

◆ Special Inspection Period

The corporation will operate a special transportation inspection period from Jan. 14 to 16. Measures include early operation of arrival and departure halls, 24-hour monitoring of key facilities and special guidance systems to minimize misdirected passengers.

Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon International Airport Corporation, said the corporation will make every effort to minimize passenger inconvenience and urged travelers to verify terminal information and use public transportation.
