영화 터미네이터 속 아널드 슈워제네거의 명대사가 현실이 됐다. 영화에 등장하는 로봇 T-800의 이름을 딴 휴머노이드 로봇이 CES 2026 무대에 섰다.
중국 로봇 기업 엔진AI가 7일(현지시간) 미국 라스베이거스 CES 2026에서 휴머노이드 로봇 T800을 세계 최초로 공개했다. 전시장을 찾은 관람객들은 영화 속 로봇을 연상시키는 T800 앞에 발걸음을 멈췄다.
◆ 무술·달리기 거뜬히 소화
T800은 사람처럼 움직인다. 목, 허리, 손 등 주요 관절이 인체 구조와 유사하게 설계됐다. 무술 동작, 달리기처럼 빠르고 복잡한 움직임도 자연스럽게 수행한다.
힘도 세다. 관절 최대 토크(회전력) 450N·m, 순간 출력 1만4000W를 자랑한다. 무거운 물건을 들어 올리거나 빠른 동작을 수행할 때 필요한 힘을 충분히 낸다. 엔진AI는 "업계 최고 수준의 동적 출력과 부하 처리 능력"이라고 설명했다.
◆ PM01은 이미 현장 투입
엔진AI는 경량 로봇 PM01도 함께 선보였다. PM01은 이미 실전에 투입됐다. 지하철역 안내, 매장 고객 응대, 시설 순찰 업무를 수행 중이다.
CES 현장 라이브 시연에는 인파가 몰렸다. T800과 PM01이 정교하게 움직이는 모습에 업계 관계자들은 협업 문의를 쏟아냈다.

Chinese robotics company ENGINEAI unveiled the T800 humanoid robot for the first time at CES 2026 in Las Vegas on January 7 (local time). Visitors stopped in their tracks before the T800, reminiscent of the movie robot.
◆ Handles Martial Arts and Running with Ease
The T800 moves like a human. Key joints including the neck, waist, and hands are designed with structures similar to human anatomy. It performs fast, complex movements like martial arts and running naturally.
It is also powerful. The robot boasts maximum joint torque of 450 N·m and instantaneous power output of 14,000W. It generates sufficient force for lifting heavy objects or executing rapid movements. ENGINEAI described it as having "industry-leading dynamic output and load-handling capability."
◆ PM01 Already Deployed in the Field
ENGINEAI also showcased the lightweight PM01 robot. The PM01 is already in action, performing subway station guidance, retail customer service, and facility patrol duties.
Crowds gathered for live demonstrations at CES. Industry professionals flooded ENGINEAI with collaboration inquiries as they watched the T800 and PM01 perform precise movements.
