군포시는 11월 11일 목요일 시청·아동보호전문기관·경찰서·학대피해아동쉼터 종사자 28명을 모아 아동학대 대응 민·관 간담회를 진행했다.
간담회에서 대림대학교 사회복지학과 유명이 교수는 정서적 불안 증상을 보이는 피해아동과 성인 지원 방안을 주제로 강의했다. 유 교수는 "아동학대 대응 업무는 높은 부담과 정서적 소진이 뒤따르는 만큼 현장 인력의 자기 돌봄이 매우 중요하다"며 "여러분의 역할과 헌신이 한 아이의 삶을 지켜내는 데 큰 힘이 된다"고 말했다.
군포시아동보호전문기관 김기영 관장은 "아동학대 대응 인력이 한자리에 모여 각자 역할을 확인하고 협력 중요성을 공유하는 뜻깊은 시간이었다"며 "지속적으로 유사 토론회를 개최해 아동학대 예방과 아동권리 증진을 추진하겠다"고 밝혔다.
이번 간담회는 시 내 아동학대 대응 인력이 상호 역할을 이해하고 민·관 협력 체계를 강화하는 계기가 됐다.

Professor delivers lecture on emotional support... strengthens collaborative system
Gunpo City convened 28 personnel from city offices, child protection agencies, police departments, and shelter facilities on Thursday, November 11, to discuss child abuse response procedures and cooperation strategies at a private-public roundtable meeting.
During the meeting, Professor Myung-Yi You from the Department of Social Welfare at Daelim University delivered a lecture on support methods for child abuse victims and adults experiencing emotional distress. Professor You stated, "Child abuse response work is accompanied by high stress and emotional exhaustion, making self-care among frontline personnel very important," and added, "Your roles and dedication become great strength in protecting a child's life."
Kim Ki-Young, director of the Gunpo City Child Protection Agency, said, "It was a meaningful opportunity for child abuse response personnel to gather in one place, reconfirm their individual roles, and share the importance of cooperation." He added, "We will continue to hold similar roundtable discussions to advance child abuse prevention and promotion of children's rights."
The roundtable meeting served as an opportunity for child abuse response personnel in the city to better understand each other's roles and strengthen the private-public cooperation system.
