국민의힘 경기도당(위원장 김선교)은 3일 경기도당사에서 미래교육정책위원회 위촉장 수여 및 발대식을 개최했다. 이날 발대식에는 김선교 경기도당위원장(여주·양평)을 비롯해 김선태 미래교육정책위원장, 도내 240여 명의 미래교육정책위원이 참석했다.

◆ 7개 분과·4개 권역별 분과 구성

미래교육정책위원회는 지자체·교육청·학교가 협력해 유·초·중등교육 및 평생교육을 지원하고 대학과 산업계가 연계하는 교육 모델을 제시하기 위해 설치됐다. 교육행정 혁신과 교육복지 확대 등 지방교육 정책 발굴이 목적이다. 위원회는 미래교육정책분과, 유아교육정책분과, 초·중등교육정책분과, 대학 및 직업교육정책분과, 교육복지 및 돌봄정책분과, 교육행정정책분과, 평생교육정책분과 등 7개 분과로 구성된다. 경기도를 4개 권역으로 나눈 권역별교육정책분과도 운영한다.

◆ "경기도 미래교육 방향 제시"

김선태 위원장은 "국민의힘으로, 교육의힘으로 경기도를 바꾸자"며 "내년도 지방선거에서 국민의힘이 승리할 수 있는 경기도 미래교육의 방향을 제시하겠다"고 포부를 밝혔다. 김선교 위원장은 "이기는 국민의힘, 이기는 경기도당이 되자"며 "오늘 참석한 모든 위원이 현장에 많이 다니고 열심히 뛰어 우리의 과제와 추진 방향을 도민 한 분 한 분에게 자세히 알려주는 역할을 해야 한다"고 강조했다.
