3일 오전 3시 53분께 인천 남동구 구월동 4층 상가건물 옥상에서 원인을 알 수 없는 불이 났다.

이 불로 거주자 70대 A씨가 사망했다.

구조대원 1명도 낙하물에 의해 좌측 팔에 부상을 입었다. 4층 옥상 40㎡가 탔다. 소방당국은 신고를 받고 소방관 51명과 펌프차 등 장비 23대를 투입해 25분 만인 오전 4시 18분께 완전 진화했다.

경찰과 소방당국은 화재 원인과 피해 규모를 조사하고 있다.
