수원특례시(시장 이재준)가 중대 시민 재해 예방을 위해 2026년 1월 20일까지 281개 공중이용시설을 대상으로 안전 점검을 진행한다. 점검 대상은 수원시 10개 실·국, 사업소, 구청 소관 시설이다. 교량, 터널, 옹벽 등의 시설물과 문화·체육·복지·상업시설이 포함된다.
◆ 점검 일정 및 방식
12월 1일부터 31일까지 각 시설물 관리부서에서 보유시설을 자체 점검한다. 점검 후 안전점검표 등 결과보고서를 총괄 부서에 제출한다. 총괄 부서는 2026년 1월 1일부터 20일까지 관리부서에서 제출한 시설물 관리 카드와 점검표를 바탕으로 의무이행 실적과 개선 사항을 재점검한다.
◆ 안전관리 강화 방침
수원시 관계자는 "공중이용시설에서 안전사고 발생을 차단하기 위해 철저하게 관리하겠다"고 말했다. 또한 "위험 요인 발견 시 즉시 개선해 시민들이 안전하고 편리하게 공공시설을 이용할 수 있는 환경을 조성하겠다"고 덧붙였다.

◆ Inspection Schedule and Methodology
From December 1 to 31, each facility management department will conduct self-inspections of its facilities. Following inspection, departments will submit result reports including safety inspection checklists to the coordinating department. From January 1 to 20, 2026, the coordinating department will re-examine mandatory compliance performance and improvements based on facility management cards and inspection sheets submitted by management departments.
