◆ 다문화 가족 통합캠프 개최
인천국제공항공사는 국내 거주 다문화 가족의 정착을 지원하기 위해 추진한 통합캠프 '가치마을 가족 나들이' 행사를 성황리에 마쳤다고 2일 밝혔다. 이번 행사는 1일 인천공항공사 항공교육원에서 열렸으며, 공사의 사회책임경영 3대 전략방향(항공산업 연계, 지역사회, 다문화·글로벌)의 일환으로 추진됐다.
◆ 10개국 가족 참여
행사에는 인천·경기 지역에 거주하는 베트남, 필리핀, 우즈베키스탄, 태국, 캄보디아, 중국, 몽골, 키르기스스탄, 카자흐스탄, 러시아 등 10개국 출신 이주배경 가족 50가정 약 300명이 참여했다. 참가자들은 가훈 족자 만들기, 가족사진관, 전통놀이, 네트워킹 미션, 체험부스 등 가족 간 소통과 화합을 위한 다양한 프로그램에 참여했다.
◆ 참가자 소감 및 향후 계획
우즈베키스탄 출신 결혼이민여성 최마리아(42)씨는 "친정 부모님, 배우자, 자녀 3대가 함께 다양한 체험을 하면서 가족 간 유대감이 더 돈독해지는 시간이 됐다"며 "행사를 통해 친하게 지낼 수 있는 가족이 생겨 기쁘다"고 밝혔다. 인천공항공사는 다문화 사회공헌 사업에 참여 중인 가정들을 대상으로 이번 통합행사 참가 신청을 받았으며, 지역 다문화센터 및 사회공헌 협력기관과 협력해 다양한 이주배경의 가정을 선발했다. 공사는 올해 다문화 청소년 교육지원 사업(인천공항 가치점프), 다문화 가족 부모 초청 사업, 다문화 한부모 가정 지원 사업, 다문화 생활환경 개선 등 국내 정착을 돕는 다양한 사회공헌 사업을 추진하고 있다. 이학재 인천공항공사 사장은 "이번 행사를 통해 다문화 가족이 서로 소통하고 문화적 다양성 속에서 화합할 수 있는 계기가 되길 바란다"며 "대한민국의 관문공항으로서 다문화 가정이 한국사회에 안정적으로 정착할 수 있도록 지원을 확대해 나가겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Multicultural Family Integration Camp Held
Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the 2nd that it successfully completed the integration camp 'Gachimaeul Family Outing' event promoted to support the settlement of multicultural families residing in Korea. This event was held at the Incheon Airport Corporation Aviation Education Center on the 1st and was promoted as part of the corporation's three strategic directions for social responsibility management (aviation industry linkage, local community, multicultural·global).
◆ Participation of Families from 10 Countries
About 300 people from 50 families with immigration backgrounds from 10 countries including Vietnam, Philippines, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Cambodia, China, Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, and Russia residing in the Incheon and Gyeonggi regions participated in the event. Participants engaged in various programs for family communication and harmony, including making family motto calligraphy, family photo studio, traditional games, networking missions, and experience booths.

Choi Maria (42), a marriage immigrant from Uzbekistan, stated "It became a time when the bond between family members became stronger as three generations including my parents, spouse, and children experienced various activities together" and "I am happy that I made families I can be close with through this event." Incheon Airport Corporation received applications for this integrated event from families participating in multicultural social contribution projects and selected families with various immigration backgrounds in cooperation with local multicultural centers and social contribution partner organizations. The corporation is promoting various social contribution projects to help domestic settlement this year, including multicultural youth education support project (Incheon Airport Value Jump), multicultural family parent invitation project, multicultural single-parent family support project, and multicultural living environment improvement. Lee Hak-jae, President of Incheon Airport Corporation, said "I hope this event becomes an opportunity for multicultural families to communicate with each other and harmonize in cultural diversity" and "As Korea's gateway airport, we will expand support so that multicultural families can settle stably in Korean society."
