인천시교육청과 인천소방본부가 특수교육대상 학생을 위한 대규모 재난 대응 훈련을 실시했다.

◆ 700명 참여 포용형 훈련

인천시교육청과 인천소방본부는 29일 인천대공원 문화마당에서 'Able 소방훈련, 안전을 위한 또 하나의 도전!' 행사를 개최했다. 교육감은 도성훈이다. 훈련은 특수교육대상 학생이 실제 재난 상황을 체험하며 스스로 대처할 수 있는 능력을 기르기 위한 포용형 맞춤 소방안전훈련으로 마련됐다. 특수학교 및 일반학교 특수학급 13개교 332명, 장애인직업재활시설 이용자 등 약 700명이 참여했다.

◆ 8개 체험존 맞춤형 프로그램

행사에는 지진·태풍 체험, 화재 및 응급처치 등 8개 체험훈련존이 운영됐다. 소화기·완강기 사용법, 화재대피 및 CPR 실습 등 체험 프로그램도 진행됐다. 장애유형과 이동 편의를 고려한 맞춤형 훈련코스가 마련됐다. 한림병원 의료진과 대한적십자사 인천지부가 현장 지원에 나서 안전한 훈련 환경을 조성했다.

인천시교육청 관계자는 "학생들이 재난 상황에서도 침착하게 대처할 수 있도록 체험 중심의 안전교육을 지속 확대하겠다"고 말했다.

◆ Inclusive Training with 700 Participants

The Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education and Incheon Fire Department held the 'Able Fire Training, Another Challenge for Safety!' event at Incheon Grand Park Culture Square on the 29th. The training was prepared as an inclusive customized fire safety training to help students with special education needs develop the ability to handle disaster situations on their own by experiencing actual disaster scenarios. Approximately 700 people participated, including 332 people from 13 schools with special schools and special classes in general schools, and users of vocational rehabilitation facilities for people with disabilities.

◆ 8 Experience Zones with Customized Programs

The event operated 8 experience training zones, including earthquake and typhoon experiences, fire and first aid. Experience programs such as how to use fire extinguishers and descending life lines, fire evacuation, and CPR practice were also conducted. Customized training courses were prepared considering disability types and mobility convenience. Medical staff from Hallym Hospital and the Incheon Branch of the Korean Red Cross provided on-site support to create a safe training environment.

An official from the Incheon Metropolitan Office of Education stated, "We will continue to expand experience-centered safety education so that students can respond calmly even in disaster situations."
