일본 축구대표팀이 홍명보호를 5-0으로 완파한 브라질을 상대로 대역전승을 거뒀다.
전반 0-2로 끌려간 일본, 후반 맹추격
모리야스 하지메 감독이 지휘하는 일본은 14일 일본 도쿄의 아지노모토 스타디움에서 열린 카를로 안첼로티 감독이 이끄는 브라질과의 10월 A매치 홈 경기에서 3-2로 승리했다.
지난 10일 파라과이와 2-2로 비긴 일본은 국제축구연맹 랭킹 6위 브라질을 잡고 10월 A매치 홈 2연전을 1승 1무로 마쳤다.
일본은 스리백 전술을 바탕으로 구보 다케후사, 미나미노 타쿠미, 카마다 다이치, 도안 리츠 등 유럽파 주축 선수들을 출전시켰다.

반격에 나선 일본은 후반 7분 미나미노의 만회골로 추격의 불씨를 살렸다. 후반 17분에는 역습 찬스에서 나카무라 게이토의 동점골로 2-2를 만들었다.
일본은 후반 26분 우에다 아야세가 헤더로 역전골을 뽑아냈다.
브라질 총공세에도 일본 수비 버텨
당황한 브라질은 후반 30분 한국전에서 멀티골을 넣었던 이스테강과 히샤를리송을 동시에 투입하며 총공세에 나섰다.
하지만 추가 골은 나오지 않았고, 경기는 일본의 3-2 역전 승리로 마무리됐다.
한국을 5-0으로 크게 이긴 브라질은 일본을 상대로 먼저 2골을 앞서가다가 후반에만 3골을 내주며 무너졌다.
