수원특례시(시장 이재준)가 10월 13일부터 11월 3일까지 무단방치 자동차를 일제 정리한다.

장기 방치 차량·사유지 방치 차량 대상

도로에 장기간 방치돼 관리되지 않는 자동차, 타인의 토지(아파트·사유지)에 정당한 권한 없이 2개월 이상 방치된 자동차가 정리 대상이다.

점검반 2개 조 편성

방치자동차 점검반 2개 조를 편성해 방치자동차 민원 신고 다발 지역, 주민 이용 빈도가 높은 무료 공영주차장, 자체 적발 지역 등을 점검할 계획이다.

견인안내문 부착 후 행정절차 진행

무단방치 자동차에 견인안내문을 부착한 후 소유주에게 적법처리요청서를 발송한다. 처리가 이뤄지지 않으면 자진 처리 명령 후 강제 처리 행정절차를 진행한다.

위반 시 1년 이하 징역

자동차관리법은 자동차 무단 방치 시 1년 이하 징역 또는 1000만 원 이하의 벌금에 처하도록 규정한다.

Suwon Special City (Mayor Lee Jae-jun) will conduct a wholesale cleanup of unauthorized abandoned vehicles from October 13 to November 3.

Long-term Abandoned Vehicles and Vehicles on Private Property Targeted

Vehicles that have been abandoned and unmanaged on roads for a long time, and vehicles that have been abandoned for more than 2 months on others' land (apartments, private property) without legitimate authority are subject to cleanup.

2 Inspection Teams Organized

The city plans to organize 2 abandoned vehicle inspection teams to inspect areas with frequent civil complaints about abandoned vehicles, free public parking lots with high resident use frequency, and self-detected areas.

Administrative Procedures After Attaching Towing Notice

After attaching a towing notice to unauthorized abandoned vehicles, a legal processing request will be sent to the owner. If processing is not done, forced processing administrative procedures will be conducted after a voluntary processing order.

Up to 1 Year Imprisonment for Violations

The Automobile Management Act stipulates that unauthorized abandonment of automobiles is punishable by imprisonment for up to 1 year or a fine of up to 10 million won.
