인천 서구(구청장 강범석)는 원도심 지역 주민들의 안전한 환경을 조성하기 위해 관내 어두운 골목길과 사각지대에 '안심거울'과 '솔라표지병' 설치를 완료했다고 밝혔다.

안심거울은 어두운 골목이나 이면도로에서 뒤따라오는 사람을 확인할 수 있도록 설치해 범죄 예방과 심리적 안정 효과를 제공하며, 솔라표지병은 태양광을 이용해 야간 보행로를 밝히는 장치로 어두운 구간의 가시성 확보와 안전사고 예방에 기여한다.
주민 의견·경찰서 협업으로 선정
이번 설치 구간은 주민 의견 수렴 및 서부경찰서 협업을 통해 선정됐으며, 안심거울은 석남역과 연희동 갈매공원 일대에 95개, 솔라표지병은 가좌3동 원적로95번길 일대의 약 456m 구간에 152개를 설치 완료했다.

The installation sections were selected through gathering resident opinions and collaboration with Seobu Police Station, with 95 safety mirrors installed in the Seoknam Station and Yeonhui-dong Galmae Park area, and 152 solar road studs installed in a section of approximately 456m along Wonjeok-ro 95beon-gil in Gajwa 3-dong.
