광복 80주년 맞아…초등생 미디어아트 33점 전시
수원광교박물관은 10월 15일부터 12월 14일까지 수원광교박물관에서 아주대학교와 함께 특별전 '나의 독도, 우리의 독도'를 연다고 13일 밝혔다. 광복 80주년을 맞아 독도의 역사적 의미를 시민과 공유하는 전시회다.
수원광교박물관과 아주대학교의 3개 기관(과학영재교육원, VR/AR 기반 지능형 라이프컨설턴트 연구센터, SW융합교육원)이 공동으로 주관한다.
초등생 눈으로 본 독도…미디어아트 33점
지난 8~9월 아주대학교와 수원광교박물관에서 '독도'를 테마로 한 수업을 진행했다. 수업에서 초등학생들이 '나에게 독도란 무엇인가?'라는 질문에 답한 미디어아트 33점을 선보인다. 아이들의 눈으로 본 독도의 과거와 현재, 미래를 담았다.
작품은 박물관 전시실과 함께 '로블록스(Roblox)' 기반 온라인 가상공간에서도 공개돼 현실과 가상을 넘나드는 새로운 경험을 제공한다.
같은 기간 열리는 광복 80주년 특별전 '보이지 않는 전선 대한민국 동해, 독도'와 연계해 시민들에게 다채로운 볼거리를 제공한다.
관람 안내…수원시민 25% 할인
관람은 화요일~일요일 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지 할 수 있다(입장 17시까지). 관람료는 성인 2천원, 청소년 1천원, 어린이는 무료다. 수원시민은 25% 할인 혜택을 받을 수 있다.
아주대학교 오규환 교수(디지털미디어학과·과학영재교육원)는 "참여자가 독도를 주제로 문제를 정의하고, 예술과 기술을 융합해 표현하도록 했다"며 "인공지능이 대체하기 어려운 가치 판단과 창의적 사고를 기를 수 있는 교육으로, 학생들이 독도의 역사적 의미를 새롭게 인식하고 창의적으로 해석하는 계기가 됐다"고 밝혔다.

Suwon Gwanggyo Museum announced on the 13th that it will hold a special exhibition 'My Dokdo, Our Dokdo' together with Ajou University from October 15 to December 14 at Suwon Gwanggyo Museum. It is an exhibition to share the historical significance of Dokdo with citizens on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of liberation.
Suwon Gwanggyo Museum and three organizations of Ajou University (Science Gifted Education Center, VR/AR-based Intelligent Life Consultant Research Center, SW Convergence Education Center) jointly organize the event.
Dokdo from the perspective of elementary school students… 33 media art pieces
In August and September, classes with the theme of 'Dokdo' were held at Ajou University and Suwon Gwanggyo Museum. The exhibition features 33 media art pieces that elementary school students answered the question 'What is Dokdo to me?' in class. It contains the past, present, and future of Dokdo from the perspective of children.
The works will be displayed in the museum exhibition hall as well as in the online virtual space based on 'Roblox', providing a new experience that crosses reality and virtuality.
In conjunction with the special exhibition 'Invisible Front Line, Korea's East Sea, Dokdo' for the 80th anniversary of liberation, which will be held during the same period, it will provide diverse attractions to citizens.
Viewing Information… 25% Discount for Suwon Citizens
Viewing is available from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (admission until 5 p.m.). Admission is 2,000 won for adults, 1,000 won for teenagers, and free for children. Suwon citizens can receive a 25% discount.
Professor Oh Gyu-hwan of Ajou University (Department of Digital Media, Center for Science Gifted Education) said, "Participants were asked to define problems with Dokdo as the subject and express them by fusing art and technology," and "It is an education that can cultivate value judgment and creative thinking that are difficult for artificial intelligence to replace, and it has become an opportunity for students to newly recognize and creatively interpret the historical significance of Dokdo."
