군포시, 바둑의 도시 중국 취저우시 방문...교류증진·발전 논의

군포시 축하사절단(단장 최홍규 부시장)이 지난 9월 26일부터 29일까지 우호 도시인 취저우시(중국 저장성)를 방문해 대표 축제인 '공자 제례 대제'에 공식적으로 참석하고 양 도시 간 교류 활성화 방향을 논의했다고 13일 밝혔다.

공자 제례 대제 참석…바둑 교류 간담회 개최

'공자 제례 대제'에서 사절단장이 제단에 올라 헌화하며 양 도시의 우의를 확인했다.

이어진 바둑 교류 간담회에서는 교류 증진을 위한 바둑 친선전 추진의 필요성과 기타 방안에 대해 다양한 의견을 나눴다.

사절단은 또한 중국 바둑소년체육학교와 도시전시관 등 취저우시의 주요 기관들을 방문해 관련 현황을 공유하고 향후 다양한 교류 가능성에 대해 폭넓게 의견을 나눴다.

올 4월 우호 협약 후 첫 공식 방문

군포시와 취저우시는 올해 4월 군포철쭉축제 기간에 우호 교류 협약을 체결한 바 있으며, 이번 방문은 협약 체결 이후 군포시의 첫 공식 방문이라는 점에서 의미가 크다.

바둑의 발상지로 알려진 취저우시는 국제바둑대회를 열고 있으며 군포시도 올 3월 바둑팀을 창단하는 등 바둑에 저변이 탄탄한 도시다.

군포시는 이번 방문을 계기로 축제 기간 상호 사절단 파견과 바둑 교류 등 교류 확대 방안을 지속적으로 논의해 나갈 예정이라고 밝혔다.

최홍규 부시장은 "바둑은 단순한 스포츠를 넘어 인내와 지혜를 나누는 문화이자 소통의 도구"라며 "향후 실무 협의를 통해 실현이 가능한 방안을 찾고 바둑을 매개로 한 시민 교류의 방향을 함께 모색해 나가겠다"고 밝혔다.

At the 'Confucius Ritual Grand Festival', the delegation leader went up to the altar and presented flowers, confirming the friendship between the two cities.

At the subsequent baduk exchange meeting, various opinions were exchanged on the need to promote baduk friendly matches and other measures to promote exchanges.

The delegation also visited major institutions in Quzhou, such as the Chinese Baduk Youth Sports School and the City Exhibition Hall, to share relevant status and extensively exchange opinions on various exchange possibilities in the future.

First official visit after signing friendship agreement in April

Gunpo City and Quzhou signed a friendship exchange agreement in April this year during the Gunpo Azalea Festival, and this visit is significant in that it is Gunpo City's first official visit since the agreement was signed.

Quzhou, known as the birthplace of baduk, holds international baduk competitions, and Gunpo City is also a city with a solid foundation in baduk, having founded a baduk team in March this year.

Gunpo City announced that it will continue to discuss ways to expand exchanges, such as sending mutual delegations during the festival and baduk exchanges, following this visit.

Vice Mayor Choi Hong-gyu said, "Baduk is not just a sport, but a culture and communication tool that shares patience and wisdom," and "We will find ways to realize it through practical consultations in the future and explore the direction of citizen exchanges through baduk together."
