◆ 경기도 268건 낙찰, 4억 6천만 원 징수
경기도가 1~3일 고액 체납자 압류물품 전자 공개경매를 진행, 268건을 낙찰 처리했다. 낙찰금 2억 7천만 원과 공매 참여 전 체납자 자진 납부금 1억 9천만 원을 합쳐 총 4억 6천만 원의 지방세를 징수했다. 경기도가 보유한 압류물품 313건을 대상으로 진행한 이번 경매에는 1,094명이 참여, 7천여 건의 입찰을 올렸다.
◆ 명품물품 340% 고가 낙찰
주요 낙찰 물품은 황금거북이 10돈이 최저입찰가 675만 원보다 약 30% 높은 876만 원에 낙찰됐다. 샤넬 가방은 최저입찰가 250만 원에서 약 240% 오른 591만 원에 낙찰됐다. 이 외에도 롤렉스 시계 441만 원, 보테가베네타 가방 325만 원, 루이비통 가방 215만 원, 로얄살루트 32년산 52만 원에 각각 낙찰됐다.
◆ 올해 7억 3천만 원 체납액 징수
경기도가 10월부터 운영하는 '체납액 제로화 집중 기간'을 통해 시군과 함께 고액·상습 체납자 가택 수색에 나선 결과다. 올해 1·2차 압류품 온라인 전자공매로 8월 2억 7천만 원, 12월 4억 6천만 원 등 총 7억 3천만 원의 체납액을 징수했다. 경기도는 2015년 압류 동산 공개 매각을 전국 최초로 도입했으며, 2020년 온라인 공매 시스템을 구축해 스마트폰과 PC로 입찰 참여를 가능하게 했다. 올해는 제주도 등 타 지자체도 경기도 공매 플랫폼을 활용해 체납자 압류품 공매를 진행했다.
노승호 경기도 조세정의과장은 "이번 공매 물품은 모두 납세 의무를 회피한 고액·상습 체납자 거주지에서 압류한 것"이라며 "성실한 납세자가 존중받는 사회를 위해 빈틈없는 조세행정과 강도 높은 체납처분을 지속하겠다"고 말했다.

The results stem from Gyeonggi Province's efforts since October, operating a 'Zero Tax Delinquency Intensive Period' in cooperation with cities and counties to search residences of high-amount and habitual tax delinquents. Through two online public auctions of seized assets this year, the province collected a total of 730 million won in delinquent taxes: 270 million won in August and 460 million won in December. Gyeonggi Province first introduced public sales of seized personal property nationally in 2015 and established an online auction system in 2020, enabling bidding participation through smartphones and PCs. This year, other local governments including Jeju Province also utilized Gyeonggi Province's auction platform to conduct public auctions of seized assets from tax delinquents.
Noh Seung-ho, Director of Tax Justice at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "All items in this auction were seized from residences of high-amount and habitual tax delinquents who evaded their tax obligations. We will continue strict tax administration and strong tax delinquency enforcement to build a society where faithful taxpayers are respected."
