군포시여성단체협의회 백영자 회장은 8일 시청에서 이웃돕기 장터 수익금 100만원을 하은호 군포시장에게 기탁했다. 기탁식에는 협의회 임원 8명이 참석했다.
◆ 10월 장터 판매수익 전액 활용
기탁금은 지난 10월 개최한 이웃돕기 장터에서 발생했다. 협의회 회원들이 기부한 생활용품을 시민들에게 판매한 수익이다. 수익금 전액을 군포시 내 취약계층 지원 사업에 사용하기로 했다.
◆ "지속적 나눔과 봉사 추진"
백 회장은 "지역사회에 따뜻한 온기를 전할 수 있어 기쁘다"며 "앞으로도 나눔과 봉사 활동을 지속적으로 이어가겠다"고 밝혔다. 하 시장은 "협의회의 따뜻한 마음과 시민들의 응원이 어려운 이웃들에게 큰 힘이 된다"고 감사를 표했다.

The donation funds came from a neighborhood help marketplace held last October. The revenue was generated from sales of household goods donated by council members to citizens. The council decided to allocate the entire revenue amount to support vulnerable populations within Gunpo City.
