인천북부교육지원청(교육장 윤건선)이 관내 학교를 대상으로 12월 31일까지 에너지절약 추진 현황을 점검한다. 인천북부교육지원청은 이번 점검을 통해 학교의 실제 에너지 절감 이행 상황을 파악하고 정책 효과성을 평가할 계획이다.
◆ 실내온도 관리부터 기기 전원 차단까지 4가지 항목 점검
점검은 적정 실내온도 유지, 승용차 요일제 시행 여부, 불필요한 사무기기 전원 차단, 에너지절약추진위원회 구성·운영을 중심으로 진행된다. 인천북부교육지원청은 8일부터 11일까지 3개 학교를 선정해 현장점검을 실시한다.
◆ 우수사례 공유로 녹색 학교 문화 확산
인천북부교육지원청은 점검 결과를 바탕으로 우수사례를 공유하고 미흡한 사항을 개선한다. 기관 관계자는 "에너지절약은 지속 가능한 환경을 위한 중요한 과제"라며 "공공기관이 모범을 보이고 학교 현장에서 에너지 절약 문화가 확산되도록 지원하겠다"고 밝혔다.

◆ Inspection covers four areas from indoor temperature management to device power shutdown
The inspection focuses on maintaining appropriate indoor temperature, implementing odd-even car rationing, cutting unnecessary office equipment power supply, and organizing and operating energy conservation committees. From December 8 to 11, Incheon Northern District Office of Education will conduct on-site inspections at three selected schools.
◆ Green school culture to spread through best practice sharing
Based on inspection results, Incheon Northern District Office of Education will share best practices and improve shortcomings. An official stated, "Energy conservation is an important task for sustainable environment," adding "Public institutions will set examples and actively support the expansion of energy conservation culture with practical execution at schools."
