민간용 드론 및 창의적인 카메라 기술 분야에서 세계 선두 업체인 DJI가 13일 초경량 팔로우 미(Follow-Me) 카메라 드론 DJI Neo 2를 출시했다고 밝혔다.
이번 신제품은 무게 151g으로 DJI 드론 중 가장 작고 가벼운 모델이며 DJI 최초로 전방위 장애물 감지 기능을 탑재했다. 손 제스처만으로 조작 가능한 제스처 컨트롤, 간편한 셀피샷, 그리고 향상된 ActiveTrack 기능을 통해 러닝이나 사이클링 등 활동적인 상황에서도 저고도 추적 촬영을 손쉽게 구현할 수 있다.
◆ 제스처·음성 제어로 간편한 조작
DJI Neo 2에는 전면 좌측에 새로운 소형 온보드 디스플레이가 탑재되어 촬영 모드를 바로 확인할 수 있다. 드론을 마주보고 이륙 버튼을 누르면 손바닥 위에서 바로 이륙시킬 수 있다. 원하는 장면을 촬영한 후에는 리턴 투 팜(Return-to-Palm) 기능을 통해 사용자의 손바닥 위치를 자동으로 인식해 정밀하게 착륙한다.
제스처 컨트롤을 사용할 때는 한 손 또는 양손의 손바닥을 이용해 드론의 방향과 거리를 제어할 수 있다. DJI Neo 2는 음성 제어도 지원하여 스포츠나 기타 활동 중 스마트폰이나 블루투스 헤드폰으로 비행 명령을 보낼 수 있다. 더 긴 전송 거리가 필요할 경우에는 DJI RC-N3 조종기와 페어링하여 최대 10km의 영상 전송 거리를 달성할 수 있다.
◆ 2축 짐벌·4K 촬영 지원...지능형 촬영 모드 탑재
DJI Neo 2에는 2축 짐벌이 새롭게 탑재되어 안정적인 촬영이 가능하며 1,200만 화소, f/2.2 조리개의 1/2인치 CMOS 센서와 고성능 이미지 프로세서로 화질이 선명하고 노이즈가 적다. 슬로 모션을 위한 최대 100fps의 4K 영상 촬영 또는 2.7K 세로 영상 촬영 모드로 선명하고 디테일한 시네마틱 퀄리티의 영상을 제공한다.
DJI Neo 2의 향상된 추적 성능은 더 빠른 반응과 개선된 안정성을 제공하여 러닝, 사이클링 등에서 부드럽고 안정적인 추적을 가능하게 한다. 개방된 공간에서는 최대 12m/s의 속도로 추적이 가능하다. DJI Neo 2는 돌리 줌, 퀵샷, 마스터샷 등 지능형 촬영 모드를 지원해 다양한 앵글의 돋보이는 영상을 손쉽게 완성할 수 있도록 돕는다.
◆ 전방위 장애물 감지로 안전성 강화
DJI Neo 2의 무지향성 단안 비전 시스템은 전방 LiDAR 및 하향 적외선 감지 시스템과 결합되어 실시간으로 장애물을 감지하여 안전하고 자신감 있는 비행을 제공한다. 5등급 내풍성, 최대 19분의 비행 시간, 49GB 내장 스토리지를 갖춘 DJI Neo 2는 최대 105분의 4K/60fps 영상, 최대 175분의 4K/30fps 영상 또는 241분의 1080p/60fps 영상을 저장할 수 있다.
DJI Neo 2는 DJI 스토어 및 공인 판매처로부터 주문할 수 있으며 13일부터 배송이 시작된다. DJI Neo 2(Drone Only)는 29만5000원, DJI Neo 2 플라이 모어 콤보(Drone Only)는 39만5000원, DJI Neo 2 플라이 모어 콤보는 49만3000원, DJI Neo 2 모션 플라이 모어 콤보는 73만1000원이다.

◆ Easy Operation with Gesture and Voice Control
DJI Neo 2 is equipped with a new small onboard display on the front left side to check shooting modes immediately. Facing the drone and pressing the takeoff button allows it to take off directly from the palm. After capturing the desired scene, the Return-to-Palm function automatically recognizes the user's palm position and lands precisely.
When using gesture control, the direction and distance of the drone can be controlled using one or both palms. DJI Neo 2 also supports voice control, allowing flight commands to be sent via smartphone or Bluetooth headphones during sports or other activities. When a longer transmission distance is needed, it can be paired with the DJI RC-N3 controller to achieve a maximum video transmission distance of 10km.

DJI Neo 2's enhanced tracking performance provides faster response and improved stability, enabling smooth and stable tracking in running, cycling, etc. Tracking is possible at speeds up to 12m/s in open spaces. DJI Neo 2 supports intelligent shooting modes such as dolly zoom, quick shots, and master shots to help easily complete outstanding videos from various angles.
