서울시가 대학수학능력시험 다음 날인 14일 오후 31개 청소년 지원기관과 함께 홍대, 신림 등 청소년 밀집 지역 5곳에서 거리상담을 펼친다.
거리상담(아웃리치)은 서울시와 유관 기관들이 청소년 가출 예방과 가정 밖 청소년 보호를 위해 청소년 밀집지역을 직접 찾아가 상담과 보호 활동을 펼치는 사업이다. 앞서 3·6·9·10월 네 차례 상담을 진행했고 총 5262명의 청소년을 만나 3만8386건의 지원을 진행했다. 이번 상담은 올해 마지막 상담이다.
◆ 5개 지역서 오후 3시부터 9시까지 진행
이번 5차 연합 거리상담은 이날 오후 3시부터 9시까지 청소년 유동 인구가 많은 ▲강북구 상산어린이공원 ▲강동구 천호로데오거리 ▲관악구 신림역사 안 ▲강서구 미리내공원 ▲마포구 홍대 레드로드 광장 5곳에서 진행된다.
청소년 쉼터, 청소년센터, 청소년상담복지센터 등 총 31개 기관 110여명이 현장에서 상담을 진행하며 청소년과 학부모 누구나 가정 내 갈등, 학교폭력, 학업 스트레스 등 상담을 받을 수 있다.
◆ 예방 교육·체험 프로그램도 제공
이날 상담 부스에서는 상담 외에도 디지털 성범죄와 온라인 유인 대응법, 지역안전망 이용 등 가출을 미연에 방지할 수 있는 예방 교육과 청소년들이 관심이 많은 응원배지 만들기, 소원나무 꾸미기 등 다양한 체험도 제공한다.
천호로데오거리에서는 청소년 진로 탐색과 직업적성 검사 등 취업관련 정보를 제공하는 서울시 일자리부르릉 버스도 운영해 직업과 미래에 대해 생각해 볼 기회를 제공한다.
정진우 서울시 평생교육국장은 가정 밖 청소년 거리상담은 위기 청소년을 조기에 발견하고 보호하는 데 중요한 역할을 하고 있다며 서울시는 우리 청소년들이 건강하고 안전하게 성장할 수 있도록 보호·지원하는데 최선을 다하겠다고 말했다.

This 5th joint street counseling will be conducted from 3 PM to 9 PM that day in five locations with high youth floating populations: ▲Sangsan Children's Park in Gangbuk-gu ▲Cheonho Rodeo Street in Gangdong-gu ▲Inside Sillim Station in Gwanak-gu ▲Mirinai Park in Gangseo-gu ▲Hongdae Red Road Plaza in Mapo-gu.
About 110 people from a total of 31 institutions including youth shelters, youth centers, and youth counseling welfare centers will conduct counseling on-site, and both youth and parents can receive counseling on family conflicts, school violence, academic stress, etc.
◆ Prevention Education and Experience Programs Also Provided
At the counseling booth that day, in addition to counseling, prevention education that can prevent running away in advance, such as digital sex crimes and online solicitation response methods, and use of local safety nets, as well as various experiences that youth are interested in, such as making support badges and decorating wish trees, will be provided.
On Cheonho Rodeo Street, the Seoul City Job Brrrng Bus, which provides employment-related information such as youth career exploration and vocational aptitude tests, will also be operated to provide an opportunity to think about jobs and the future.
Jung Jin-woo, Director of Seoul City's Lifelong Education Bureau, said "Street counseling for out-of-home youth plays an important role in early detection and protection of youth in crisis," adding "Seoul City will do its best to protect and support our youth so they can grow up healthy and safe."
